Went for my first visit today. Everyone was amazing from start to finish. Ashley was my hygienist and was gentle and kind. She made sure I was always comfortable. Wendy checked me in and was super nice. Dr. Rose did my final check. I was super impressed with everything. The office is very nice and clean. They offer a comfort menu of blankets and warm towels. In some cases, you may experience temporary sensitivity following your whitening treatment. Whitening products penetrate the surface through tiny tubules in enamel. Your teeth are prone to sensitivity until the minerals in saliva close the tubules. To help prevent this, avoid consuming very hot or cold substances for a few hours after whitening.
You’ll want to avoid eating or drinking for at least four hours after your whitening treatment. Just sip water during that time. In fact, during the first 48 hours, we recommend a diet of “white” foods, like bread, pasta, yogurt, rice, milk, turkey, and chicken. Your teeth are porous after the whitening, which makes them more susceptible to staining. To achieve the best results and to experience less sensitivity, adjust your diet those first few days.
