Meet The Staff

Kim is our patient coordinator and has been with the practice since 2008. Her smile is the first thing patients see when they come into our office, and she is often the person they speak to on the phone. In 1982, Kim started her career as a dental assistant after graduating from Portland Community College. She worked as a dental ceramist in a lab for six years and also spent time as an office manager. After leaving the workforce for several years to focus on raising her children, Kim returned to dentistry.

Aside from making our patients feel at home, Kim also enjoys entertaining with her friends and two adult children. She is an excellent cook and loves trying out new recipes or putting a different twist on something well-known. Her husband is an avid hunter and fisherman, and Kim enjoys spending time outdoors with him. You will find them traveling in their motor-home throughout the year.

Bev has worked as a dental hygienist since her twenties, when she graduated from the OHSU School of Dental Hygiene. She has instructed some of the dental programs at Portland Community College and also served as co-president of The Gum Gardeners, a hygiene continuing education club that helps dental hygienists stay current with the ever-changing world of dentistry. She joined Dr. McCroskey’s staff in 2005 and is continuing to give her patients the same great, personalized care with Dr. Hayden.

Bev and her husband are the parents of three adult children and the proud grandparents of a two-year-old granddaughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, but you might also find her walking with friends, whipping up a meal in her kitchen, or researching new recipes. An avid reader, she loves sharing her latest reads with her patients.

Erika is our office dental assistant. She speaks Spanish and American Sign Language. When she’s not helping patients, she loves spending time with her awesome family and exploring all that the Pacific NW has to offer!

Jen is one of our dental hygienists. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family.

Katie’s interest in dentistry started at a young age when she started working in her Father’s dental practice during summers. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Washington University and then went on to attend hygiene school in Boise, Idaho. After hygiene school, Katie moved to Portland where she began her career in private practice in 2008.

When she’s not working Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. They can often be found hiking, boating or camping.
